This Bride Wore the Prettiest Oscar de la Renta Dress at Her French Royal Wedding
Over the weekend, Prince Jean-Christophe Napoleon Bonaparte, a descendent of Napoleon Bonaparte I, married Countess Olympia von und zu Arco-Zinneberg in a lavish Parisian ceremony. Despite the historical significance of the marriage (Olympia is the great-granddaughter of Austria’s last emperor, Karl I), we can't stop admiring the bride's wedding dress.
For the ceremony at Paris's historic Les Invalides, the bride wore a white Oscar de la Renta fern gown with a custom matching capelet and cathedral veil. The entire look was embroidered by 10 dressmakers and took over 1,440 to create.
Among the guests at the French nuptials were Princess Beatrice and her fiancé Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. The Princess wore a patterned dress, pale blue trench coat, black hills and a pink wide-brimmed hat. Her fiancé wore a morning suit with a light blue waistcoat, coordinating nicely with Beatrice's outfit.
