You Can Now Rent Carrie Bradshaw's Iconic NYC Apartment for Just $23 a Night
Calling all bridal parties and Sex and the City fans. You can now throw a bachelorette party to remember in one of the most iconic TV homes of all time: Carrie Bradshaw's New York City apartment!
In partnership with Airbnb, Sarah Jessica Parker has recreated the show's famous abode ahead of the upcoming release of the 10-episode SATC reboot, And Just Like That..., on HBOMax. Meaning, fans can now book the special recreation through the travel platform—for just $23 a night.
The new, reimagined apartment will feature all the things you remember and love about the columnist's beloved Upper East Side one-bedroom: her gorgeous closet, her writing desk, and even the chair designed by her ex Aidan Shaw. While the fashion icon's Perry Street building doesn't actually exist, Airbnb's recreation is the spitting image of her memorable digs from the cult-favorite show.
Of course, we couldn't help but wonder if the apartment would make for the perfect destination for a bachelorette party. Grab your maid-of-honor, mother, or one lucky bridesmaid to take on the Big Apple Carrie-style—complete with a digital warm welcome from Parker herself! The overnight stay also comes with a girl's brunch in Chelsea, a dress-up session in Carrie's coveted closet, and even a photoshoot where you can don some of her most iconic pieces (including the Manolos!).
“The Carrie Bradshaw character is near and dear to my heart, and revisiting her world for the continuation of the Sex and the City story has been such a joy,” says Parker. “I’m excited for our audience to experience Carrie’s New York like never before and walk in her shoes, quite literally, for the first time.“
Starting today, November 8, at 12 p.m. EST, you can request to book the nostalgic apartment for a one-night stay at airbnb.com/sexandthecity. The iconic space will be available for two nights only on November 12 and 13 and sleeps two guests for just $23 a night. Airbnb will also donate to The Studio Museum in Harlem, which features contemporary art created by artists of African descent.
And just like that... you have the chance to book the bachelorette of your dreams. No spoilers about the highly-anticipated reboot included, of course.
