Lady Gaga's SAG Awards Gown Is a Literal Wedding Dress
Lady Gaga never fails to stun on and off the red carpet, but a recent look gave us a glimpse into what her wedding day might look like. On January 27, the A Star Is Born star took to the red carpet during the Screen Actors Guild Awards at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles, and her look was absolutely show-stopping.
Gaga appeared on the red carpet in a plunging V-neck gown with tulle details and thigh-high slit skirt from Dior's Haute Couture show. The magnificent dress was seen just last week during Dior's runway show during Paris Haute Couture Week. In addition to her dazzling gown, the singer wore a yellow and gold diamond necklace and earrings from Tiffany's 2019 Blue Book Collection and completed the look with Old Hollywood glam makeup that included dark lips and a pretty updo.
The bridal look is perfect for the singer, who recently announced her engagement to Christian Carino in October 2018. After months of speculation from fans, Gaga confirmed her engagement during the 25th annual Elle Women in Hollywood event at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles when the singer, 32, thanked her "fiancé" during her onstage speech.
According to Us Weekly, while being while being honored, Gaga told the audience, ‚ÄúThank you to all the loved ones in my life.‚ÄĚ She continued, ‚Äú[Manager] Bobby [Campbell], I love you. Everyone at table five. My fianc√©, Christian. All the loved ones in my life who take care of me every day. And Ryan Murphy, thanks for giving me my first leading role [in American Horror Story: Hotel]. You know that Golden Globe belongs to you.‚ÄĚ
Gaga has long spoken about her fiancé and his support throughout her career. She previously shared how he was there for her during her Super Bowl LI halftime performance in 2017.
‚ÄúWhen I went backstage, Christian was by the stairs making sure I was okay,‚ÄĚ said Gaga, as told by New York Post‚Äės Page Six according to People. ‚ÄúThe best part about being in love with someone is having them there to catch you if you fall.‚ÄĚ
